BOMB SQUAD
American Music Award winning funk-rock act Bomb Squad have united with vocalist, 2006 American Idol Finalist, Brenna Gethers. The new Squad lineup has been touring the US this Spring and Summer and is currently recording material for its forthcoming album to be released in early 2008.
Bomb Squad released its debut CD, Sophistafunk in March 2002. The band enjoyed its first taste of commercial success when hand selected by music icon Dick Clark to perform at the 31st Annual American Music Awards. Bomb Squad played their song, Ready to Ride, in front of millions of television viewers throughout the U.S.and abroad, while sharing the stage with pop stars such as Britney Spears, Outkast and Metallica.
Shortly after this, the Squad released their second studio album, Bomb Squad II, and a DVD entitled, Rip it Up, highlights 90 minutes of live Bomb Squad filmed at Boston's Paradise Rock Club.
